I have been cooking forever, my mother's mother was actually the cook for a German nobleman, and our kitchen has lived ironclad following Grandmother worn cookbooks. Most of the food I am familiar with have a gypsified flavor background to them.

I have been cooking forever, my mother's mother was actually the cook for a German nobleman, and our kitchen has lived ironclad following Grandmother worn cookbooks. Most of the food I am familiar with have a gypsified flavor background to them.
The following classes have been taught to others across the county, and so I have listed them here as "successful" classes. However, should you have any ideas on food classes that you would like to participate in, please let me know and I will let you know if I am proficient and familiar enough with it to teach it.
**Please note: there will need to be a kitchen of some sort in order to teach these classes.
Middle Eastern 101
There is a long family history creating these kinds of foods. You will learn the many Middle Eastern spices, cooking techniques, and history, along with eating some tasty dishes. The mystery of hummus, Baba Ganouj, baklava and more will be revealed in this tasty, exotic cooking class.

The spices of India have long been used to flavor Victorian England and America's foods, an you may not even be aware that some "common" spices in your pantry are actually from India! This class explores spices, various cooking techniques, and ends up with a few tasty recipes for you to eat! Mango Lhassee, Vegetable Jafrees, and more are awaiting hungry students!

The world of raw foods might seem a bit "new age," but they have been proven themselves as tasty and healthful ways to live your life--some even swear to being cured of various ailments via raw food! We will explore the pros and cons of raw food, raw food preparation techniques, and make some tasty raw food..such as spinach canapes, date nut links, raw shakes, and more.

Raw honey is excellent in taste and health benefits on it's own, but you'd be surprised to find that varietal honey pairs up very well with food! Various types of honey have different tastes, and thus each honey can combine with a certain food companion. You will taste samples of different types of honey, learn honey cooking techniques, and try different foods with honey: such as tupelo cayenne carrots, honeyed eggplant, and more!
