Enchanted Jewelry 101
Here is an opportunity to learn the basics of jumprings, clasps, beaded jewelry, and more. We will explore basics of jewelry making using interesting themes, whimsical beads, imagination and more to create unique jewelry. You supply the jewelry pieces you would like, we will bring the tools and instruction to do so. If you have any questions on how to put together jewelry, please let us know and we will send you a supply list with an explanation of how to put each piece together. You will go home with a lovely piece of jewelry based on your own whimsical design!

Art Cloth Doll making 101
**PLEASE NOTE: This class is dependent on whether we can transport our sewing machines. If you are interested in hosting and have at least two sewing machines to spare, let us know, or contact us to find out if we are bringing ours***
The wonderful world of art doll making is demonstrated here in this class! You will learn to make a unique doll based on an ORIGINAL pattern that you will learn to make, which is then sewn stuffed, and painted in a particular fashion to reflect the colors and patterns better. You will learn about button jointed arms, using the sewing machine to create specific affects, and how to use buttons and trims for your doll. Bring your own ideas, and whatever buttons and trims you would like to apply to your doll. We will supply paints.

Doll Making 101

We will use a combination of soft materials, such as felt, sock materials, cotton cloth, and other materials, to create a small sweet doll that can be used for play. You will learn how to sew a patten, stuff the doll, machine joint the doll (where applicable) and embroider features for the face. Bring some ideas for a small or medium sized soft doll you would like to create, including buttons or trim you'd like to add.

Quilts are a traditional skill utilizing the talent of taking strips of cloth and sewing in such a way that creates an end item of beauty and comfort. Art quilts takes this idea in a new direction entirely. Utilizing quilting techniques in combination with art painting, you will create a unique art piece with quilting embellishments. You can create a wonderful wall hanging utilizing these ideas. A hand painted or pieced unique picture will have backing depth, button embellishment, and trim, as you desire. Bring your ideas, whatever trim, buttons, and more. We will provide the cotton or canvas for you to paint on, the backing for the quilt, and the paint to make your dreams happen. NO PREVIOUS QUILTING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

Wood Painting.
The art of painting on wood can create beautiful and durable piece of art--beautiful ornaments, pendants and wall hangings. There are various ways to paint beautiful pictures on wood, including understaining, direct paint, and accents such as glitter. Matter varnish and other varnish ideas will be discussed along with wood cutting and burning. You will take home a beautiful pendant/ornament at the end of the class. Paint and wood piece provided.

WOOD BURNING
*PLEASE NOTE, this class is contingent on woodburning tools available** Woodburning tools may be ordered for a reasonable price by each student beforehand. Wood pieces will be provided for each class.
The art of woodburning can be used to create a truly unique wood piece that will accent your home for years. Various techniques in creating dark and light burns, effects, shading, and unique wood patterns will be discussed. Burning safety, wood treatment, and more are also on the agenda.
You will go home with a unique piece of wood art for your home.

DREAM and GOAL JOURNAL:.
Bring a journal of your choosing and your favorite embellishments (button, ribbons, stickers, cut-out pictures, old pictures, decals, ric-rac, glitter), and learn to create a dream journal that will help you express your artistic side, as well as reveal your own goals.
Techniques in scrapbooking, assemblage, sewing, and more will be explored and you will go home with an enchanted dream journal!
