Music For Your Gypsy Soul

Here's a new idea.  You may or may not know, I'm a stickler for music. In one of my many previous incarnations, I was a radio DJ, and  I have always had a love for old time music, perhaps even ancient sounding. Long ago lullabies on weathered instruments make my heart race. Music that compliments old Southern houses and sweet iced tea, music that works, walking through mystical forests, music from faraway cultures....well, you get the idea.

So I thought, perhaps I'd share some of these with you?  I have no idea what to call them, as they encompass various genres.  Other than they are so eclectic, that perhaps they are music for the Gypsy Soul, perfect for whatever journey you may be taking. Enjoy:

Great sound, Zan. I love music...all kinds of music. I can't play an instrument if you put a gun to my head...tried the piano, guitar and recorder...failed miserably, but I love listening...can actually use the on and off switch on my radio and music system!! LOL

I introduced all types of music to my children even before they were born and now, they love music too and can actually play. My daughter is an oboist and taught music in elementary school till our dear Gov. Perry decided she and others were unnecessary instructors to our children. My oldest son played the trumpet in high school and was in the Corp of Cadets Band at A&M back in college and is a self-taught guitarist (sounds like a combination of Leo Kotke & Michael Hedges)and my youngest, who is autistic, finds great comfort when he's got his music going...he loves it when it's just him and the music.

I intend to download the sound track to the "Red Violin" later today...love the movie and music. Have a great weekend, my lovely friend.

xxoo,
Georgina
